We wish, here, to continue and talk about the large range of parameters that manufacturing modules of Mago.net give to the user in order to totally fit requirements of business management.
Today we put our interest on appointed parameters created to manage the material picking during the different production steps.

With the intention of start up manufacturing firms in the right direction, we suggest to give a suitable time studying user needs, so that the best set up will match the company production flows.

Talking about manufacturing parameters, perhaps not everyone knows that exists a dedicated group of them thought to face up to the search and picking of materials from correct storages and lots.
Opening the parameters master data, in the sheet “Run and Picking other”, it is present the group “MO Confirmation: automatic picking” where we find the check “Assign lots and storages”. This is the “master” parameter and, the others in the group are disabled if this one is disabled.
The functionality connected with “Assign lots and storages” parameter helps users during the picking step, suggesting the available quantities inside storages and lots. The parameter, when enabled, operates at the time of Production Run, manual picking and MO Confirmation.
The choice is done in according with storage and lot policies.
The other parameters in the group expand functionality of “Assign lots and storages” giving the stocks the opportunity to assume negative values.

The determination of the price lists is undoubtedly one of the most complex issues in the management of a company. The flexibility provided by the Mago.net price lists allows you to simplify the business of selling, applying to the customer the correct price, taking into account different variables, such as its category (retailer, wholesaler, etc..), the unit of measure (single piece or package), the quantity sold, and more.

Probably everyone knows that Mago.net provides the price lists management and that the price list associated with a customer is automatically proposed to the document and in consequence is automatically assigned the unit value of sales.
 
But perhaps not everyone knows that ... as an alternative to this operation, you can specify a different price list for each line of the document which does not depend, therefore, only by the customer, but also by the item sold.
 
In addition, the management of the price lists lets you specify the price according to the unit of measure. Thus it is possible for example to indicate the price per box, but also by selling a single piece Mago.net is able to apply the correct value, taking into account the ratio  indicated in the two different units of measure.
