An overall balance on the outcome of an important event, when the latter has come to an end, is quite inevitable. Let us therefore make a brief digression on the experience of Smau Bologna 2012, which witnessed the presence of an extraordinary team within the Microarea - Zucchetti stand.

Lets start by saying that the experience in Bologna has certainly been positive, exceeding any expectation!
Within the large D47 stand, a consistent number of experiences have been brought to life. While the huge audience was following the product demos on the widescreen, the main actors of innovation actively collaborated in order to provide all visitors with an optimal service: demos provided in MacBook (proving the flexibility of Mago.net) and applications specifically dedicated on Ipad and Tablet Windows 8 (that can be interfaced with the accounting software of Microarea) were able to reassure a number of companies, belonging to different merchandising sectors, that the right solution to manage at best all activities was indeed found at stand D47.

The presence of many excellent Microarea Partners made sure that the many guests could always find an interlocutor highly prepared and always ready to address the many different types of requests regarding each merchandising sector. The contemporary presence, within the stands, of Microarea and Zucchetti staff has furthermore been the right chance to join together competence, quality and skill in further exciting synergies that the Smau visitors were able to witness and appreciate.

Lots of demos, many entrpreneurs ready to take in consideration Mago.net for their company, dozens of integration proposals developed for Mago.net and able to cover specific needs of both commercial and industrial sectors, made the two day rendezvous in Bologna truly special.
Also the photographs prove how stimulating these due days in Bologna have been: have a look yourself at the brief video-slideshow, made just after the end of Smau, available on the Microarea Youtube channel.

We will soon be back with other astonishing events!

Microarea website: information and added value

1 February 2012 by vsalaris

The success of an Internet website depends on the coherence relationship between shape and contents. For Microarea, this means providing, throughout the web, relevant and interesting information.

edited by the Marketing Department

Microarea, now as in the past, always released unique and distinctive information, re-establishing and increasing progressively its visibility among the web.

In 2011, the Microarea website achieved outstanding results from a visibility point of view: +22% visits on 2010, for an overall 1,800,000 on-line pages visualized! Interestingly, a large part of the visits are due to the "Googeling" activity of Internet surfers in search of information and solutions. Comparing to last year, we have witnessed to a consistent increase in the traffic deriving from Google: +30%!

The significant work load that Microarea carried out on communication is integrated and fulfilled by the search engines optimization activity, this throughout technical improvements (the grouping of activities known as SEO) that guarantee a highly effective positioning of the results of the research engines. The latter is truly vital towards the products visibility and, more generally, of the entire Microarea offer.

Also, the type of consultation provided a highly satisfying result: the visitors don't just "stop and go" on the website: there stay (on average 5 minutes) is well longer than the one referring to other websites belonging to players in the same market segment. This means that there is a significant level of interest and attention towards the reported themes.

Thrilling results indeed, which prove how quality does pay off in the end.

It is therefore obvious that the visibility of the companies that are hosted on www.microarea.it is considerably high. An extraordinary showcase is available to the Microarea Platinum Partners, within which they can promote their brand and solutions integrated with Mago.net. The End Users instead have the "Success Stories" area where they can promote themselves on the web ... all of which offered by Mago.net!
We could say, based on the information in our hand and trying to carry out a literature type comparison, that the End Users have "flicked through" the Microarea website searching for the most interesting info just like if it was a newspaper, they have read with attention just like if it was a manual rich of information and last (but not least) they have shown their appreciation as if it was a best seller!

Aside the numbers and statistics, the great influx and interest of the visitors prove the value of the philosophy and efforts made by Microarea, acknowledging the importance of the investments made in order to offer a "point of reference" for the "aficionados" (Users and Partners) and net surfers who are looking for the answers to their needs.

Microarea Convention 2011: Sold out!

16 March 2011 by fperricone

Microarea Convention 2011

A large number of Partners attended the Microarea Convention 2011, held at the Hotel Parchi del Garda in Pacengo del Garda on the 10th of March.

Many new features including the forthcoming issue of Mago.net 3.5

by Fabrizio Perricone
Product Marketing Manager

Three hundred people attended the Convention 2011. Remarkable the presence of the foreign Partners: over 20 of them arrived from Hungary, Switzerland, Bulgaria, Poland and Romania!

The expectations have not fallen short: many topics have been set forth and highly important new features have been announced. Three new modules of Mago.net 3.5 have been officially presented and illustrated throughout visual demonstrations. The three new modules just mentioned are Warehouse Management System (logistics), EasyBuilder (customisation development tool) and EasyAttachment (documents filing management).

If you wish to find further information on the three new modules, check out the blog herewith: you will find specifically relating articles.

Respecting the timetable became a quite difficult task mainly due to the highly consistent number of people attending the event. Nevertheless, thanks to a efficient "back-end" work, the delay in regards to the schedule was very limited.
The first presentation was held by President Enrico Itri: a clear-cut, precise and incisive picture of the past, present and (above all) of the great ideas and innovations that Microarea has in store for the future.

Next was Fabrizio Perricone, the Product Marketing Manager. He introduced to everyone, thanks to a breathtaking video, the new logo and the graphical design that will come with the release 3.5 of Mago.net. Furthermore, he highlighted the excellent results obtained by the Microarea website along with the main services provided to the Users and Partners by the website itself.

The Sales Director Mario Aschiero, throughout a brilliant speech, brought everyone's attention on the outstanding results obtained in 2010, identifying the increase in the number of end users as the strategic goal that the Microarea Partners need to pursue in 2011. Such goal is the only "medicine" able to fight back the product contract cancellations due to the financial crisis that caused the closing down of many Mago.net user companies. Mr. Aschiero also underlined the ethical aspects that Microarea and its Partners share in order to offer high quality services to all Mago.net users.

The Microarea Award 2011 ceremony just before lunch break: magnificently presented by the Microarea International Sales Channel Manager Réka Ujj, the Partners awarded were Micron Srl (best Italian Partner), Magoarea Ltd. (best foreign Partner) and Mario Infante of Giga Srl (best contribute to the Microarea Community).

The after lunch was characterized by the outline of the new features available in the 3.5 release of Mago.net: four sessions during which the slides were set a side in order to give way to actual demonstrations.

The interview to Andrea Rinaldi (CTO ERP division) offered the opportunity to highlight the new "cool" characteristics of the product! Integrated Skype call, address verification via Google, template report, organisation chart management and lots more...also if, to say the truth, the 25 minutes of the presentation were too few to show the over 130 new features available in Mago.net 3.5!

The second demo which took place in the afternoon focused on EasyAttachment with a Q&A between Anna Bauzone (Project Manager) and Fabrizio Perricone. The document storing system made in Microarea proved to be truly simple and efficacious.

Next came the Marco Perasso and Matteo Canessa (two members of the development team) presenting EasyBuilder: easy to use and incredibly effective, EasyBuilder is the tool which allows creating customisations in Mago.net. More than often the demo was interrupted by the spontaneous applauses of the audience.

Giuseppina Sperico (Logistics Team Manager) and Francesco Ricceri (he who developed the software of the hand held devices) showed to everyone how the new module Warehouse Management System can significantly improve the logistics management of the warehouse. The solution for the management of the Wi-Fi handheld terminals was presented during an interesting unscheduled presentation.

Towards the end Mario Aschiero described the "Go to Market" of the three new modules: aggressive prices and full support to the Partners on behalf of Microarea

Last but not least, a truly interesting "Q&A" session.

What a busy day it has been, with lots of information provided and positive communication: the audience followed all presentation with great attention well past six o'clock in the afternoon!

Multimedia material will be soon available on the Microarea channels (official website, Youtube..).

Microarea Portal makes it 6!

25 February 2010 by fperricone

 Portale Microarea poliglotta

The global market is increasingly restive: new contacts, new business opportunities, new partnerships. Microarea is now multi-lingual, reaching out to its many markets!

by Fabrizio Perricone - Product Marketing Manager

Our increasingly enhanced presence in Bulgaria, Poland, Rumania, Switzerland and Hungary has urged Microarea to...make it 6!

In addition to Italian and English the Microarea Portal is now also available in Rumanian and Polish. And very soon we’ll be adding Bulgarian and Hungarian versions!

The Microarea Portal has always spoken two languages: Italian and English. Maintaining content in two languages constantly aligned is an important mission for us, offering businesses north of the Alps the opportunity to get to know Microarea and ERP Mago.net.

Microarea wants to further increase its presence in countries in which it is already a solid business reality, providing its End Users, Partners and simple Contacts a vital benchmark to help them keep constantly up-to-date on product innovations, while allowing them to get to know and make the most out of the functions provided by Mago.net modules, and much much more!

Keeping content on the Portal up-to-date in six languages is undoubtedly a daunting task, but the advantages provided by the increased visibility will widely pay back the effort required.

The website "new" languages will allow Microarea to be easily reachable via Google searches and using other search engines in "reference countries", enhancing visibility for the entire Microarea Community, formed by its Partners and Users, and obviously by Microarea!

Never made use of the function for viewing the Microarea website in a language other than the preset language? It’s simple: use the drop-down menu in the top right corner and choose a country!

The new Microarea portal: we talk to Germano Traverso

9 March 2009 by szarino

The new Microarea portal: we talk to Germano Traverso

by Sonia Zarino - Marketing & Communication Manager

The new Microarea portal was launched over three months ago and includes many more aspects than its predecessor. Designed as an interactive platform between companies and the outside world, the portal offers a series of new services with the primary purpose of consolidating and extending the network of users, partners, visitors, who on occasion interact with each other, and, of course, Microarea.

Germano Traverso, Technical Director and qualified engineer at Microarea, heads up the project and in this article describes the achievements so far and what lies in store in months to come.

“As you can imagine”, observes Traverso, “the portal is by its very nature constantly changing, not only because our development team is continuously working on maintaining and up-dating the contents, but also because visitors (users, partners, etc.) participate in discussions, pose questions and suggest improvements.”

Based on CMS technology, the portal has been structured so that its contents can be easily picked up by search engines, thereby improving its visibility on the Web.

Among the new features introduced on the portal, some, such as online and video courses, have been specifically designed for Mago.net users. These courses are free to access (subject to user authentication via the site) and are proving to be particularly useful in acquiring a deeper knowledge of specific software functions. Since the courses are available 24 hours a day, users can choose their favourite time to access them, at home or at the office. Their simple structure makes the lessons easy to follow and the concepts necessary for using any of the functions can be remembered with the least effort.

Some of these courses are accessible even without authentication for visitors who are not Mago users but who wish to try out its efficiency and perhaps learn more about the product.

Consistent with the site’s Web 2.0 technology foundation, new instruments such as the Forum (discussed in our previous issue), Blogs and, coming-up, Wiki and code sharing instruments are growing in significance.

Blogs: Versatile and easily up-dated, our Blogs are the ideal tools to keep you regularly informed of new developments regarding partners and users. Some of them are reserved for partners (Business, Support, Technical, Training), others can be freely consulted (MicroareaNews, press releases, etc.). You can evaluate articles on Blogs and post your comments.

Wiki: This project will allow easy sharing of informative material. The content will be open to the community of editors. Each change will be recorded chronologically, making it possible to redraft the text in its previous version. The aim is to share, exchange, store and optimise knowledge through collaboration.

Code Sharing: This is yet another project designed to create a highly open, progressive environment, offering the community of developers the possibility of sharing “parts” of codes or more complex solutions made available to the community itself.
Traverso’s view is that, “Today we are already in an intermediary stage where we are sharing information and knowledge, templates, reports and simple solutions in preparation for the next step which will involve sharing code elements”.

In the reserved area, now more accessible and navigable, order processing (dedicated exclusively to partners) has undergone a complete restructuring, allowing for orders to be placed completely online with a noticeable time saving and quicker execution.

Even becoming a Microarea partner has become easier with the possibility of concluding contracts online. In time, this is expected to become the sole procedure, having already eliminated paper copy contracts in other areas (for instance, MLU Microarea Live Update).

“The favourable response we are receiving from the public (over a thousand visitors per day) shows that we are on the right path. In future, we will strive even harder to build and consolidate the network formed by partners, users and Microarea itself because we are convinced that reciprocal interaction can lead us to the solutions required by the market in terms of speed and creativity: two fundamental elements which are essential to always remaining competitive,” concludes Traverso.
