Edited by Marketing Department 3.9 improvement continues with SP 8! The new Service Pack involves every functional area, leaving room for as many as 60 new features.  In this post you can find a brief review about 3.9.8.

Let's start from  Accounting Area. Thanks to 3.9.8 you can now send  payment certificates (taxes and Enasarco  withholding for your tax return) via e-mail or PostaLite (Zucchetti postal service that allows you to send by mail any document).  Covering letters can be customized by the user. Further improvements in bills submission and payments orders  were designed for companies working with Public Administration. If you export regularly, 3.9.8  allows you to manage letters of intent revocation; you can also print them or send them via email or Postalite.

There are interesting news also in Manufacturing Area, since contract work functionalities are enhanced.  3.9 SP 8  further improves job ticket final balance. Display and management of variants related to production order/contract work order are also refined. 3.9.8 presents further improvements in calculating CONAI exempt clients, and in Agents Selection, thanks to an optimized Agent code filtering system within Agents Movements Clearing and Commissions Revaluation procedures.

SP8 also improves Sales and Purchases Area thanks to the options “delivery note for order” and “invoice follows” in packing list.

With regard to WMS, 3.9.8 proposes new, useful improvements for warehouse and logistics. 3.9.8 allows you to simultaneously and automatically create several Warehouse units and print any of their barcodes, thanks to the via-Server Automatic Packing functionality. Furthermore, the new release allows users to feel free in picking operations. You can indeed choose to act in Controlled or Flexible way, setting modifications for any data. WMS Mobile module too is enriched by Stock Display function, starting from Storage Mission Confirmation. In this way you can view all item or item/bin stock in the mission that you’re confirming.

Tax adjustments and much more: here's Service Pack 6

"Well begun is half done," an old adage says... and so 3.9 begins the new year with a rich Service Pack, designed to further enhance all management areas.

With more than 20 upgrades and improvements, 3.9 launches its sixth service pack, offering a sharp productivity increase thanks to more and more updated features.

Among the main innovations stand out those in Accounting. Starting from now, Tax Agency requests about communication of purchases from San Marino suppliers are taken up. So far, this fulfillment was required only in paper form. SP6 adopts in advance data submission terms, and puts into practice the technical methods. Multipurpose Communications module launches a special procedure, able to generate the specific communication file for San Marino purchases.

As far as Multipurpose Communication module is concerned, the new service pack introduces a decisive parameter, i.e. the limit up to which it is not necessary to report Black List transactions. All transactions are currently communicated. Starting from now, by setting the parameter to 500 €, it is possible to transmit just the operations with a taxable income exceeding this amount. The parameter is applied only by the new Black List procedure, as part of Multipurpose Communication, and it represents an updated process  to exactly comply with tax matters provisions.

That is not all: SOSConnector module  (the cloud service for documents electronic storage in Zucchetti Data Center) versatility is further enhanced. Thanks to SP6 updates, with SOSConnector you can now store documents related to ledger, records and VAT summaries, assets log, intent statements records... giving a cut to bulky paper archive!

There are great news also in Warehouse Management System sector. An important functionality is added to WMS Mobile by upgrading to Service Pack 6. We’re talking about email automatically sending from your mobile device at the conclusion of picking, positioning, supply, returned items operations, and much more. All this benefits your WMS continuous monitoring and optimal management!

At short distance from SP3, here are the latest service packs: 3.9 SP4 and SP5, with extremely interesting and useful tax adjustments.

Edited by Marketing Department 3.9 Service Packs 4 and 5 contain a number of important updates, especially useful to meet the Tax Agency requests.

Starting from October 2013, the Directorial Provision issued  by Tax Agency in 2013, august 2nd, defines new communication techniques and deadlines, as regards to VAT transactions (the so-called Tax Communication). Tax Agency has also established that the same template, now called Multi-purpose Communication, should also be used to transmit Blacklist Operations

Therefore, in the new improvement packages stands out, among all, the Tax Communication module’s review. The wording is now replaced by “Tax and multi-purpose Communication”. The definition change is not merely a matter of form, but involves the module’s substance.

This means a functional extension. With 3.9 Service Packs 4 and 5, the Tax Communication module expands, so that all the communications required by the Tax Agency are merging into a single component. Thanks to the SP4 update the module includes now not only the new Tax Communication, but also the Black List function. Users who have purchased the Tax Communication module will automatically have the new "Tax Communication" included in the version 3.9.4 upgrade.

A slight variation is instead expected for users who have not activated the Tax Communication module, but are using the Black List (already present in the Accounting module). In this case, the Black List may be used for 2013 statements, since the Tax Agency allows to use for this period both the old  and the new version. For the 2014 statement, however, the Black List function of Accounting module can not be used to create new files, though it still will be useful for reprinting.

Thanks to Service Pack 4, 3.9 is able to ensure a timely update in full compliance with the Tax Agency requests. does not even overlook the economic point: despite the functional extension, the price of the Tax Communication module is the same. An added bonus!

First of all the InfinityConnector, the module that allows a two-way dialogue with Infinity, the Zucchetti CRM. The Service Pack 2 is rich of new features: over 30 new aspects able to improve your company efficiency from all points of view.

Article 62 found within Law 27/2012 has had a great impact of the food and agricultural industry. Microarea promptly updated in such a way as to ensure the necessary functional operations. In the SP2 for 3.9 the integrated controlling has been introduced within the sales documents entering procedure, this in order to help the operator control the perishability of the products entered within the document. Still speaking of Article 62, in the payment conditions a new deadline has been introduced ("end of month following invoice date") allowing to manage with greater precision the expiry dates connected to the sales documents for the food products.

The data regarding the CONAI and ABI/CAB of the Italian banks has been updated.

Microarea doesn't simply adjust to the constantly changing legislation. Microarea foresees and prepares to the upcoming legislative modifications issued by the Tax Agency, an example being the "Spesometro 2013". The Tax Agency has not yet officially announced which information shall be included within the new declaration. The deadline for the presentation of the 2012 data is set to be the 30th of April 2013. Having said this, the Tax Agency itself declared that there will be a shift in the schedule, also if the new deadline has not been confirmed yet.
Microarea moves ahead and issues the update for the Spesometro (Tax Communication) developed according to the draft versions so far provided. Should there be differences with the official specifications provided by the Tax Agency, the Spesometro for will once again be promptly updated. Also Hungary issued its own Spesometro: the functional localization is available in a new report that allows visualizing all the data that shall be communicated. Again on a fiscal, for Hungary a report is now available able to manage the invoices declaration received from the small entrepreneurs and artisans.

Important new features also within the Warehouse Management System. The SP2 brings along 15 new features concerning the WMS Mobile (handheld devices). The countless new aspects are also the result of an ongoing collaboration existing between Microarea, Partners and End Users: every "wish" expressed by the End Users is analyzed closely and, if reasonable, implemented into Let us make a few examples: the handheld devices now allow visualizing the details of the content and the maximum quantity manageable from the specific warehouse unit. During the receipt process you can now track a higher level of items in comparison to the ordered quantity while keeping the connection to the order (instead of creating a new line without the order indication), this being useful in order to maintain full precision between the documents.

The unlimited openness, inter-operability and integration of with external environments is proved by a new outstanding function called MA-HyperCall. This technology allows creating a link to a document or report belonging to Generally you can find, within a website or an email, this type of link, and this today allows creating a link to ERP items. Just imagine, for a second, sending an e-mail to a colleague of yours, where in between the text lines you can enter a link to the sales order on which you are debating. Your colleague can see all the details regarding the order within his thanks to one simple click! This function allows generating link to any type of report (pre-setting also all the requested data in input). Try it out now!

The electronic archiving of the documents is a very popular subject nowadays among the End Users. The module EasyAttachment allows archiving in any type of document in electronic format. The SP2 carries along a new function allowing more individuals to manage the documents: the check-in and check-out of the files. Such function ensures full coherence of the electronic documents hence avoiding simultaneous harmful modifications by different End Users. Furthermore, thanks to the "Undo" function, you can now restore the document copy before being "hit" by the undesired modifications.

The electronic archiving of the documents allows saving money, space and time. Last, but not least, the electronic storage of the documents needs to provide legal value to the not printed documents. The so called "archiviazione sostitutiva" (substitutive storage) is a legal/it term regulated by the Italian law providing, as previously said, legal value to electronic documents. The Service Pack 2 makes available the integration to the substitutive storage service made available by the Zucchetti Datacenter. Thanks to the module called SOSConnector your closets will be finally paper free because your documents will all be in electronic format! We will soon give you further information regarding the SOSConnector in a new article.
