Come to Future Decoded 2015 to find out what does the future hold and to meet the ERP suite Mago4 and Zucchetti Infinity HR solutions. Future Decoded 2015 will take place in Rome, at Auditorium Parco della Musica, Viale de Coubertine 30, from 8.00 to 19.00 on November 12th.

Future Decoded 2015 is the great Microsoft conference, for the first time in Italy, that will host developers, IT professionals and students to find out how the future will be thanks to digital technology. Having analyzed the innovations of Mago4 in terms of interface, in this post we discover, beyond the technicalities, why Mago4 is modeled on your needs and ready to respond to all of your needs.

We speak of TaskBuilder Studio (for friends TBS), the component of the Mago4 suite able to make unique your own ERP Mago4 . You know how important it is the ability to develop customized applications: this is precisely what makes Mago4 able to adapt to your needs.

To meet the needs of customers or the market, the behavior of the standard features have often to be extended or modified. Thanks to TBS your reseller can develop the solutions that best fits your needs, targeted to the specific market sectors in which you are operating, or even applications designed to increase productivity in certain business areas.

TBS is the same development platform used to build Mago4, but it was not designed just for that: TBS allows developers to build vertical solutions integrated Mago4 or real stand-alone solutions. In this way different applications, provided by other manufacturers and addressed to various areas of the company, are placed in the same installation, and you have a coherent set of interfaces and behaviors, even if realized by third party manufacturers.

The developed applications are not rigid, but rather composed of modules that can be installed optionally, as it happens for the application modules of Mago4. Mago4: a totally new look

Here is a new insight about the main features of Mago4: discover how Mago evolves in its design.

We have already mentioned that the new Mago4 preserves the functional features of, while radically changing its interface. The new design has to deal with not only graphic elements, and color, but it goes beyond the concept of User Interface to embrace the broader idea of true User Experience.

The new look is inspired by the latest trends in content before chrome: data and content on which you work are the primary substance to perceive, while the interface elements remain in the background. Mago4 adopts a flat appearance without 3D effect and photorealistic images with stylized icons and rich colors.

Mago4 design also takes into account the evolution in referring to the size and resolution of the displays in use. The traditional constraints associated with these features are now meaningless, given the multifaceted range of available devices, each with their own values. The goal of the new design is the dynamic adaptation to different situations: the new interface applies the principles of responsive design to adapt the elements to the available screen space. Special attention also goes to touch-screen devices, which, while not ideal tools for a complex operability, are useful for consultation and for operations of verify or confirmation. Mago4 interfaces are then touch friendly, responsive and have enough space to tapping as an alternative to clicking.

To give Mago4 a highly intuitive design, we started with an observation: "If there is a need to explain the interface, you probably made a mistake in the choice of design." The new design communicates the user a clear message about the meaning of what is displayed and on possible actions, taking care of the affordances (ie the invitation) proposed by the elements. The affordance draws on the common and computer cultural background (a blue underlined text suggests a link to other information; three diagonal lines at the corner of a window indicate that the same can be enlarged, etc.). Users can predict which actions will be performed, starting from the look of interface elements.

The restyling of the Home Page leads to a totally new look, clear, clean and light, characterized by the presence of tiles (ie panels containing groups of consistent fields), that are also the key elements common to all the application interface. The responsive design is here: the tiles can change size and orientation adapting to the various form factors and the extension of the texts in different languages. The occupation of space is improved, readability and understanding are maximized.

Navigation is intuitive; the desired functionality are recalled with a few clicks and the appearance of the home page is customizable, to fit the daily operational flows, hiding the items used with a lower frequency. A powerful search system allows you to quickly find any functionality of application or framework: the entire usual search functions are implemented: bookmarks, last-used and pinning.The look and feel is linked to the theme and therefore is customizable.

All the windows of the application interface (data entry, batch, wizards, forms, etc.) are new in look and organization of information. The data are grouped by operation logic and meaning in the new container represented by the tiles, which can be collapsed by the user, while continuing to carry information. All you need is at hand on the first page of the document, and other not-basic information are in accessory boards. You have the same result in Activity Panel thanks to the Accordion model: the sections collapse or expand themselves while you proceed in the activity. There are also other characteristic elements, such as lateral selectors with customizable icon and description and a concise and descriptive header, designed to recall the information that you always want to be visible (name of the customer, document number, etc.).

Even toolbars change: from uniform stripes of small images, functions move in different areas of the display. The new toolbars are lighter, thanks to the drop-down buttons, and can move freely; toolbars are reduced in number (the accessory functions are in separated informative panels), they have larger icons, useful on a touch screen, accompanied by a descriptive text for easier understanding. Available icons change depending on the context and the possible actions.

Colors, fonts and other graphics change: a powerful templates technology collects the styles of different components to model the product on the tastes of the individual user. In this way, it is easy to create a familiar user experience, even between different applications and products.

Microarea extends and renews its offer, strategically moving beyond the pure ERP software.

As you know, the meeting held in June anticipated a revolution in the field of ERP with Mago4, the new version of Mago ERP. But that's not all!

Microarea extends and diversifies its proposal through a suite of joint products, able to meet various operational needs, of development and business, in Italy and in international markets. The project - carried out by following a strategy of global integration with Zucchetti product - is based on the belief that it is the set of solutions to make a difference, rather than a single product.

Starting from its vast technological expertise, consolidated experience of development and the variety of its skills, Microarea then re-formed the core components of the ERP, embracing simultaneously the criteria of the web usability imperative. is already more than just an ERP: its architecture is suitable to the new valuation of the individual segments of the system, with renewed development models and unedited components. The new suite sees the independent presence of the framework, that was hitherto perceived as an infrastructural substrate, but that now appears as TaskBuilder Framework. TBF is a self-contained environment that provides an application base on which to develop vertical solutions, add-ons and cross products, embedded and stand-alone. Another component of the suite is TaskBuilder Studio, which is the result of the enhancement of Taskbuilder development platform. Through its interpretation on client and web platforms, TBS will be a collection of development tools used by the simple power-user, the consultant or the professional developer.

On TBS (development platform) and TBF (framework) grafts the new MAGO4, a completely new product, born from the evolution of Mago, but different from it for look and feel, design and user experience, and declined in client mode MAGO4 desktop (next release) and in the new version MAGO4 web, with its dynamic web design.

MAGO4 is created starting from the new usability criteria inspired by last generation devices: all the interfaces of the present have been reinterpreted in a modern way, both in terms of the organization and from a graphic point of view, with the goal, fully caught, to provide maximum usability while keeping the business processes consolidated in

Image and substance in the new MAGO4: nothing has changed, but nothing is the same again! You'll see the logos created for the new product, the customizable home page - pure TBF web application – with a pure responsive web design; the new look of the forms is made up of tiles, toolbar and lateral slider absolutely touch - friendly, with compact information and dynamic and customizable templates.

The new interface structure accords to maximum malleability criteria, to converge - both formally and substantially - to the other proposals of Zucchetti Integrations. Together with the components of the suite new management capabilities are also coming, especially in the warehouse and logistics area, organized in line with the criteria of speed and usability that can guarantee a new management experience.
