The Sales module makes a powerful software to manage all the operations connected to product sales.

We can use the sales module to carry out all the operations connected to product sales.

In particular, it manages the issue of Delivery Notes, invoices, credit notes, receipts etc., integrating currency management and payment schedules.
In a number of methods are available to calculate shipping costs.

The sales module can be used to manage the Withholding Tax and, if necessary the Professionals Fund.


Sales: main features

Sale Documents assist you in all the operations connected to sales of product or services. You can register the most common sales documents: delivery notes, immediate, accompanying and proforma invoices, invoices for advance, credit notes, debit notes, returns from customers, receipts and non-collected receipts.

The customer master data provides all the distinctive details including payment terms, currency, prices list, etc.
When saving, allows us to execute actions specific to the type of sales document: issue, post accounting entry, post payment schedules, post intrastat entry and post inventory entry.

Sales documents can also be issued in a different currency. automatically converts every value according to the fixing in the currencies master data or inserted manually into the document.

Thanks to the management of the references we can quickly go from one document to a linked document, with a single click, e.g. from the delivery note to the order it was generated from, or the invoice it was processed in.

Stub Book and Tax Journals

When inserting a new document the number is automatically proposed. Depending on the type of document, the numbering follows the Tax Journals used for document posting in accounting (invoices, credit notes, receipts), rather than the Stub Book (transport document).

For every kind of Register it is possible to manage a number of suffixes, and each of these suffixes can have progressive numbering.

The main stub books are already prepared in; it is possible to create and use all the stub books necessary, for example to register entries of other branch offices of our company or to number some types of entries differently.

Price and Discount Policies

The pricing and discount management in makes defining price application policies very flexible.

It is possible to manage several sales price lists, providing for brackets of quantities and dates of validity, have prices linked to the customer or to the item or to both. It is also possible to apply prices deriving from the mark-up on purchasing or manufacturing costs of the goods.

We can define a personalised prices and discounts policies, assigning priorities to the different values.  For example, the most recent price applied to the customer for that item can be proposed, or if there is none, the standard customer price for the item or the list price associated with the customer or even the base price of the item.

Shipment and Packing Charges

It is possible to charge the customer for shipping and packaging costs, entering these manually or using automatic settings.

In a number of methods are available to calculate shipping costs: they can be linked to the carrier used for shipping or to the customer.

We can also use to create Charge Policies to use to automatically calculate shipping and packaging costs on the basis of the parameters of our interest, for example goods amount, weight, number of packs and more.

Importing a file

To facilitate and speed-up the introdution of documents you can import text files containing item codes or barcodes (eventually generated with an optical reader).

Besides item codes you can import the quantity, relevant prices and discounts and, if managed, the Lots.

In the same way you can also import note files if there are several lines of text to be associated with the document.



Withholding Tax can be used to manage the Withholding Tax and, if necessary the Professionals Fund.

It is possible to indicate what percentage of the taxable amount the withholding tax must be calculated on. We can decide which customers and which items to subject to the withholding tax calculation.

Once the appropriate parameters are defined, the Withholding Tax and the Professionals Fund are automatically calculated in the sales documents (invoices and credit notes).

All the calculation parameters are in any case visible and editable on the sales documents.

When the document is received we can automatically transfer the credit to the tax withholding account.

Automatic and Manual Invoicing

The immediate and accompanying invoices can be created by manually entering all the data or by retrieving all or just part of Sale Orders or Delivery Notes.

The invoices can also be created automatically. With the Delivery Note deferred invoicing it is possible to process the transport documents present in the archive.
The delivery notes can be summarised in a single invoice using some grouping criteria that we can set to suit our needs.
For the invoices to generate we can request the issue, accounting, posting payment schedule and intrastat entry.

We can execute invoicing test. This can be used to control invoices before they are actually created.

The generated documents can be sent by email to email addresses entered in the customer master data, sent via fax or just printed.

The possibility for analysing, controlling and verifying data in the archives of our management application is one of the fundamental steps for correct corporate management. provides a considerable variety of lists that can be used to analyse, control and verify all the aspects of Sales management.

With the possibility of verifying the amounts and quantities of the sales, centring control on the customers, the items and also crosschecking these figures, we can carry out different kinds of analyses:  for example, we can verify the progress of the turnover for a given customer, check how much an item is requested and if there are seasonal or monthly turnover peaks.

With it is possible to insert invoiced budgets in customer master data, automatically update actual data and compare budget to balance.
