In the first place its user interface is multilingual and can be used by users who speak different languages even within the same company network.

It also makes it possible to insert most of the descriptive data in several languages to be able to fill in documents and reports to send or for consultation by customers or foreign partners.

It has a complete multicurrency support and actually manages amounts in different currencies, also at the level of a single document.

Lastly, it has been localised to adjust to the fiscal regulations of various other countries to allow a company with several branches or production sites to use the same information system.

Multilingual interface

The user interface has been designed to be visualised in several languages. The dictionaries available can be freely installed and the language can also be set at the single user level.

This makes it simpler to use the same information system in a global company. Multilingual management is also applied to access from outside (via the Internet using EasyLook) and therefore it is easier to share information with customers and partners outside Italy.

Languages available at the moment are: Italian, English, French, Spanish, Polish, Romanian, Hungarian, Bulgarian, German (Swiss), Portuguese.

Multilingual data can be used to manage the descriptions in several languages for a lot of the data. For example it is possible to indicate the descriptions of the items, of the accounts, of the conditions of payment, transport etc.. in one or more alternative languages as you wish, to be able to then use these descriptions in the document composition or print phase (e.g.: orders, invoices, account statements as well as financial statements and statements of account) destined for foreign contacts.

The language to use can be associated with Customer or Supplier so that it is automatically selected during the print. Furthermore, for many standard prints, it is possible to select the language during execution so for example it is possible to send a price list as an email attachment or allow an external supervisor to consult an account through EasyLook.

It is possible to define the exchange rates between the various currencies in the form of cross-rates, with the exchange rate varying by date also at the level of a single day or several price lists on the same day; it is also possible to define a sales price list that is different from the purchase price list.

Every document (order, list, invoice, prime entry etc…) issued and/or received can be expressed in a different currency and attributed to a certain fixing also amending it manually (exchange rate trading). All the prices, amounts etc from other archives are converted on the basis of the document currency if they are expressed in different currencies. Price lists in foreign currencies are also managed.

Reference to the currency is maintained for the entire lifecycle of the document until it is entered into the accounts. At the moment of payment, the programme can automatically calculate the active or passive exchange rate difference and enter it at the same time.

Accounts in foreign currencies can also be defined (for example to manage a bank account or a savings account in another currency), and the receivables and items in other currency can be automatically reconciled at the end of the year to close the financial statements.

Localization for other countries has been studied to manage tax regulations and customary use of other Countries. This management is fully transparent for the user and is activated during installation, selecting the Country the product is to be used for. For example, if a Romanian or Polish configuration is installed, Adjusted Documents will be used instead of Credit Notes, the Intrastat or VAT payment tracked files will be adjusted to local legislation etc.

We must stress that the legislation in use has no relation with the language used by the user interface: for example, it is possible to use the Romanian configuration programme with the Italian interface language and so on.  This is particularly useful for companies with branches or production sites abroad, making remote monitoring of the IT systems easier.

At the moment has been localised for the following Countries: Brasil, Italy, Switzerland, Romania, Hungary, Poland and Bulgaria.
