Often during the inventory phase we realise that the actual quantity of goods physically present differs from the quantity resulting from the programme. To reconcile these differences, instead of inserting the inventory items manually, we can use the Inventory Rectification Items procedure. This procedure automatically generates two items, one for excess goods and one for deficient goods to rectify the situation.
