Microarea website: information and added value

1 February, 2012 by vsalaris

The success of an Internet website depends on the coherence relationship between shape and contents. For Microarea, this means providing, throughout the web, relevant and interesting information.

edited by the Marketing Department

Microarea, now as in the past, always released unique and distinctive information, re-establishing and increasing progressively its visibility among the web.

In 2011, the Microarea website achieved outstanding results from a visibility point of view: +22% visits on 2010, for an overall 1,800,000 on-line pages visualized! Interestingly, a large part of the visits are due to the "Googeling" activity of Internet surfers in search of information and solutions. Comparing to last year, we have witnessed to a consistent increase in the traffic deriving from Google: +30%!

The significant work load that Microarea carried out on communication is integrated and fulfilled by the search engines optimization activity, this throughout technical improvements (the grouping of activities known as SEO) that guarantee a highly effective positioning of the results of the research engines. The latter is truly vital towards the products visibility and, more generally, of the entire Microarea offer.

Also, the type of consultation provided a highly satisfying result: the visitors don't just "stop and go" on the website: there stay (on average 5 minutes) is well longer than the one referring to other websites belonging to players in the same market segment. This means that there is a significant level of interest and attention towards the reported themes.

Thrilling results indeed, which prove how quality does pay off in the end.

It is therefore obvious that the visibility of the companies that are hosted on www.microarea.it is considerably high. An extraordinary showcase is available to the Microarea Platinum Partners, within which they can promote their brand and solutions integrated with Mago.net. The End Users instead have the "Success Stories" area where they can promote themselves on the web ... all of which offered by Mago.net!
We could say, based on the information in our hand and trying to carry out a literature type comparison, that the End Users have "flicked through" the Microarea website searching for the most interesting info just like if it was a newspaper, they have read with attention just like if it was a manual rich of information and last (but not least) they have shown their appreciation as if it was a best seller!

Aside the numbers and statistics, the great influx and interest of the visitors prove the value of the philosophy and efforts made by Microarea, acknowledging the importance of the investments made in order to offer a "point of reference" for the "aficionados" (Users and Partners) and net surfers who are looking for the answers to their needs.

Microarea website: more than a simple restyling

8 November, 2010 by nazam

Two years have gone by since the first major restructuring of our website. Strength, productivity and completeness of the Microarea offer: these were the elements of the message we wished to convey back then. Today we have decided to change things with the aim of making our website (including its contents and on-line services created in the past years) become a valuable and efficient marketing tool, exactly as every company website should truly be.

by Germano Traverso - Technical Director for Support & IT services

In order to reach the set objectives, the communicative paradigms, throughout which we wish to address not only the whole spectrum of individuals potentially interested in our products, as well as the internet search engines, had to be totally redefined.

Visual and browsing paradigms, that will drive the Microarea website guest through pre-established and easily recognizable paths. Consequently, the Mago.net potential user and the potential Partner will be able to identify themselves whilst finding the correct way towards providing answers to their overall curiosities and questions.

We are not merely talking of an aesthetic restyling. There has been a proper re-planning of the paths through which the guest shall benefit from the “Mbyte content” and information registered on our system. Starting from a new homepage, passing through the specific appealing graphical elements, and leading all the way to the aim that the SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and SEM (Search Engine Marketing) theories consider to be of primary importance: maximization of the so called “conversion rate”. In other words, turn the highest possible number of website visitors into clients (Mago.net Users or Microarea Partners).

The landing of the guest on our website shall not be “traumatic”: thanks to simple and clear-cut paths, the guest is guided throughout a "tour" naturally leading towards leaving the personal contact information. All of the areas have been heavily restructured and rationalized in order to be even more coherent with the pre-determined browsing schemes. The end result consists in having a website that is now faster (100% speed increase), “lighter” and less abundant of textual information (this true at least for the higher browsing levels), the latter being an aspect that often intimidates the website visitor causing him to “jump away” in a undetermined manner in order to find something more stimulating.

A further improvement, browsing wise, has been provided by the “customization” of the home page for the User that has entered his/her credentials. Whether we are dealing with an End User or Partner Microarea, the home page will adapt accordingly, offering simple access paths to those functions (found in the Private Area) that are inherent with their profile (e.g. the User will have direct access to the MLU management rather than the on-line courses while the Partner will have access to the orders areas rather than the management of the sales opportunities).

Two services of primary importance, for both the Mago.net users and Microarea Partners, have been profoundly re-designed:

  1. Training area: the reports and catalogues have been re-planned both in the public and Private area. Furthermore, customized reports have been implemented in such a way to keep track of the courses followed by everyone and, for the End User, reports that suggest the courses that “cover” their current Mago configuration.
  2. Support Area: in the private area you can now find a search engine that sets forth queries regarding the efficiency of the entire Microarea Knowledge-base (Help Center, e-learning courses, FAQ, Etc.) with a “full text indexing” method and by means of a modern and easily understandable interface...the Microarea “Google”.

In summary, hereunder is a list of the areas on which we have particularly concentrated our efforts:

  • Create immediate browsing paths
  • Guide the browsing throughout “Call to Action”
  • Provide answers to the most frequently asked questions (...how much does it cost? Where can I buy it?)
  • Introduce a more direct and “friendly” type language
  • Simplify and “target” the information request module
  • Improve performances (loading speed
  • Maximise the compatibility with all browsers

Similarly, to the “last version”, the website will continue to evolve, not only in regards to the contents but also in relation to the offered services.
I wish all of you a pleasant browsing experience on www.microarea.it!

Microarea Portal makes it 6!

 Portale Microarea poliglotta

The global market is increasingly restive: new contacts, new business opportunities, new partnerships. Microarea is now multi-lingual, reaching out to its many markets!

by Fabrizio Perricone - Product Marketing Manager

Our increasingly enhanced presence in Bulgaria, Poland, Rumania, Switzerland and Hungary has urged Microarea to...make it 6!

In addition to Italian and English the Microarea Portal is now also available in Rumanian and Polish. And very soon we’ll be adding Bulgarian and Hungarian versions!

The Microarea Portal has always spoken two languages: Italian and English. Maintaining content in two languages constantly aligned is an important mission for us, offering businesses north of the Alps the opportunity to get to know Microarea and ERP Mago.net.

Microarea wants to further increase its presence in countries in which it is already a solid business reality, providing its End Users, Partners and simple Contacts a vital benchmark to help them keep constantly up-to-date on product innovations, while allowing them to get to know and make the most out of the functions provided by Mago.net modules, and much much more!

Keeping content on the Portal up-to-date in six languages is undoubtedly a daunting task, but the advantages provided by the increased visibility will widely pay back the effort required.

The website "new" languages will allow Microarea to be easily reachable via Google searches and using other search engines in "reference countries", enhancing visibility for the entire Microarea Community, formed by its Partners and Users, and obviously by Microarea!

Never made use of the function for viewing the Microarea website in a language other than the preset language? It’s simple: use the drop-down menu in the top right corner and choose a country!
