Add-on for Mago.Net: the advanced management of credit

 Exposure management with Mago.Net and K-Fidi

The credit management presents in Mago.Net allows you to consider some of the innumerable parameters, which in some cases it is necessary to consider before proceeding with the acceptance of an order rather than the delivery of the goods. Thanks to the solution K-Fidi by Kirio Srl (Microarea Platinum Partner) the management is extended to guarantee a greater flexibility and control of the conditions of exposure.

      The motto used by Kirio for its solution K-Fidi is "better safe than sorry": the motto is particularly right in a moment economic that it lasted for several months and that sharpens the sensitivity of the companies in the management of credit to customers.

The K-Fidi module allows you to block an order to customer during the issuing if it detects the overcoming of the constraints on exposures. The blocked order will not be available for the delivery on delivery notes or accompanying invoices until it is authorized to unblock it under administrative password.

Thanks to some reports the state of those orders can be managed and through a suitable procedure it is possible to unlock some orders to be treated with the usual procedures in Mago.Net.

It is possible to insert the parameters which govern the functioning of the module in a fast and independent way, thanks to a tab in the customers master that shows the four fields that determine the exposure given to the customer on four separate criteria:
  • block on a single order
    block exposure on total orders to be delivered
  • block exposure on turnover not collected
  • block exposure on total
The parameter "days for effects" indicates how many days after the date of collected payment through bank check, it can be considered not more subject to cancellation; this parameter affects only on the calculation of exposure on overall viewing even to be collected the receivable presented to bank.

The salient features of K-Fidi may be summarized in the following points:
  • limit the maximum amount of the single order
  • maximum amount on customer orders when these are to be invoiced and they are not still collected
  • overall parametrizable exposure

We know that energy is a fundamental aspect of the economy and has noticeable impact on the financial situation of companies and families. Many commercial organisations, therefore, do business in this sector and our partners have developed several interesting solutions aimed at these companies.

S.I.C. SRL - Servizi Integrati e Consulenze, Microarea Platinum Partner, have been active for almost twenty years in the petrochemical sector and has developed for Mago.Net the two applications described in this issue.

1) OilGas.Net
This Mago.Net application is designed for the management of methane gas and GPL suppliers. It makes it possible to run any aspect of this type of company, from the management of contracts and meters, to meter reading and tank truck delivery invoicing.

Data management with OilGas.Net is particularly comprehensive. The application offers many functions, such as:

• Calculation of fixed daily rate for the days of actual consumption
• Management of calendar and thermal years for price calculation
• Calculation of price in MC based on a gigajoule table
• Management of customised meter discounts
• Management of tiered VAT

2) Oilsys.Net
This Mago.Net application offers a comprehensive solution to SMEs in the petrochemical sector who require a programme capable of an integrated managing function for all fiscal, commercial and accounting aspects linked to the management of inventory and marketing of petrochemical and chemical products (liquid and packaged).

The structure of the programme and the management of data allow it to be integrated with other specialised packages such as those for management of distributor stations, heat management or management of electronic weighing systems and meter readings.

The multiple functions of Olisys.Net include:
• Telematisation of excise duties and creation of flat files
• Multi-inventory and multi-customer management
• Management of drivers, means of transport and transporters
• ADR check, booklet dates and revision
• Motor vehicle capacity check
• Commercial products with definition of fiscal items and intended use
• Management of product wording for each type of accompanying document
• Density conversions by means of pre-loaded ASTM tables
• Unit of measure tables configured as desired
• DAS, DAS “not accompanying goods”, DAS, XABD and XAB lists, meter tag

Various optional forms are also available:

ESL.Net, Wireless electronic labels

ESL.Net is a new plug-in device developed for Mago.Net by A&M srl (Microarea Platinum Partner) to enable you to update the prices and information about products in real time, without having to manually access these on the shelf to change the traditional paper labels.

This new application, designed an developed by Applications & Management srl, Microarea Partner Platinum, receives and instantly updates the information for definition of the goods: selling price, promotions, discount, etc.
 
It has been designed for the retail market and besides being used with Mago.Net you can also use it with the CashDesk.net solution. It does not require any specific management for the sales point.
 
ESL.Net has many strong points, namely:

  1. Reduction of management costs, since it eliminates the need to daily update the paper labels;
  2. Greater efficiency, since the system provides indication of eventual errors in the transmission of information;
  3. Improved management of promotions, since it can count on a quick implementation of the change in price;
  4. “Intelligent” labels, to supply the sales staff with additional information about the products;
  5. Greater customer loyalty, by an increase in the perception of the quality of the service provided;
  6. System modularity, it can be adapted to all types of requirements;
